The Client appointed Reardon Smith Landscape to develop Landscape Proposals and to review the Public Realm opportunities in its surrounding context.

The site is situated between Grosvenor’s North Audley Street improvement scheme, the planning application and public realm improvement works as part of the 30 Grosvenor Square site (Amercian Embassy) and also in the vicinity of the wider aspiration for future improvements to Grosvenor Square.

The design seeks to create a place for pausing, informal seating and to act as an minor gateway to Grosvenor Square. Poetic references have been selected from William Blake’s works, who used to live in the vicinity, to be inscribed within the natural stone landscape finishes.
