ReardonSmith Landscape were apointeed to design a series of biodiverse green and brown roof habitats in Portman Square, set to be one of the largest series of biodiverse roofs in Central London.

The design and species selection for the landscape roofs has been carefully considered to align with ‘Wild West End’ objectives by maximising species for attracting pollinators which will strengthen biodiversity in the city.

The design also proposes to re-purpose site demolition materials by reusing crushed limestone and brick for use within the substrate of the calcareous wildflower meadow planting.
